Estate Manager’s Cottage, East Islip, New York, 1901

This is an original building from the Percy Williams estate in East Islip that was built around 1901.  The lower floor was used as a private office by Percy Williams and the second floor was used as a game room for card games and gambling.  Percy Williams was a medicine man, comedy star, land developer, vaudeville theater owner and philanthropist.  It was formerly located on Suffolk Lane in East Islip and was donated by Joseph Zhangi and Associates.  This is one of the structures in danger of being lost due to heavy damage to the roof.
