Important information for Civil War Weekend – Final Night Schedule

Here is some important information for Civil War Weekend:

Final Night Schedule 2015

SATURDAY NIGHT LANTERN TOUR

  • Duration: 7:30pm to 8:30pm
  • Four stations:
    • Station A:  Chapel  (Music: Larry Moser & Mary Nagin)
    • Station B:  Parlor (Victorian Wake)
    • Station C:  Union Camp
    • Station D:  Confederate Camp
  • Maximum 25 persons per group, no more than 100 tickets sold – sales to be handled by Friends of the Grange at their tent.  All groups will be organized at the Friends of the Grange tent.
  • Start all four groups simultaneously and then synchronize rotation.  Ten minutes at each station, rotation 5 minutes to next station.
    • Group One Rotation – A, B, C, D
    • Group Two Rotation – B, C, D, A
    • Group Three Rotation – C, D, A, B
    • Group Four Rotation – D, A, B, C
    • Schedule –
      • 7:30 pm to 7:35 pm rotate to the stations as above
      • 7:35 pm to 7:45 pm at station for presentation
      • 7:45 pm to 7:55 pm rotate to the stations as above
      • 7:55 pm to 8:00 pm at station for presentation
      • 8:00 pm to 8:10 pm rotate to the stations as above
      • 8:10 pm to 8:15 pm rotate to the stations as above
      • 8:15 pm to 8:25 pm at station for presentation
      • 8:25 pm to 8:30 pm rotate to the stations as above
  • At 8:30 pm all groups will be brought to the chapel at the end to observe the retiring of the colors of the 67th and then they leave and all camps are closed
  • Tickets to be provided by Friends of the Grange
  • Orange glow sticks for the public need to be purchased and provided
  • One guide for group and one speaker at each station.  FOG will provide volunteer guides and the watches will be synchronized to insure that the detailed schedule will be followed
